It offers two graduate degree programs: a Ph.D. in occupational health sciences, with the objective of training independent researchers in the field of work environment and health; and a Master of Science (Applied) in occupational health sciences. The objective of this program is to train occupational health and hygiene professionals in the evaluation of the work environment and work hazards, and in the application of appropriate methods of prevention and control. The M.Sc. is offered in a regular sessional format which consists of three full-time terms and usually an additional session, and in a distance education format, normally over a three-year period.
